just wondering.. do you know who bought it? which company type? is it just brandable name for vape related company.. or it means something special in german? ty.
Sold:
Dallas//event//photographers//com for $200
Sent out some emails to potential end-users and I got a reply from the buyer, indicating his interest in the domain. I quoted $350 then he went silent.
But from the streak I was using to track my outbound mails, I saw him opening the mails almost every 6 hours (guess he was contemplating).
After about 1 week, he messaged me, asking for me to consider $200. I turned it down, but shifted a little to $300.
Then he went silent again. Since I wasn't getting any new lead, I messaged him after 10 days that he should pay the $200.
He replied almost instantly that he was designing the logo for the domain name, that was why it took long for him to reply. I was seriously pained that I lost $100 for being too hasty (well, we all learn everyday).
I asked him when he will pay, but he replied that he was out of fund and will pay after he receive a gig.
All this dragged on for over 1 month. I was on the brink on giving up when he messaged me for the whole process.
Bought $1 at networksolutions
Hold time was around 2 months.
The promo code isn't working again. How you buy domain for so cheap at networksolutions? Also if it gets sold within 60 days, do you ask buyer to signup with NS so that you can push the domain?
Congrats on the sale.

As for the 60days part, the two names are way past 60 days. But if your sold name should fall within the 60 day period, you'll have to tell the buyer to open an account with network solutions.
You're so on point. I don't pray to ever encounter that problem anywayWhich is not always easy to handle with. I have had a situation where buyer simply said that he don't want to open an account because it is complicated for him, so I had to wait until the end of transfer lock period.

About 6 months ago I tried an experiment on a batch of names. I made the bin prices just above the GD appraisal. It's been working for some reason.
Here's where I posted it in the Reg Of The Day..

Funny thing is, I checked the whois and it's a substantial business that bought it.
4 plus this one. 5 total.nice sale.
how many sales did you make with your 6 month experiment roughly? ty.
300 roughlyHow many names were included in that experiment?
I will have to wait and see. Not exactly sure because they were originally set to make offer. Not sure if it's having bin prices, or the alignment with gd values. That experiment is going extremely well.
If the average continues to hold out until the end of the 12-month period, your formula is very close to:
Investment x 3.5 = profit
After all associated fees (registration costs, commissions) - and based on a $1499 average sales price.

Not sure. I've mostly used Make Offer, but I must say, bin prices seem to be working better.Wonder if more would sell if they were $100 less than GD appraisal with a BIN? That way buyer can see the appraisal amount along with the name...
Personly I think GD appraisal plays a little value or no value for an end-user. In my opinion, not all end user knew about GD appraisal. its the name which get sold.Wonder if more would sell if they were $100 less than GD appraisal with a BIN? Yes, I would never use it for names I consider premium.Personly I think GD appraisal plays a little value or no value for an end-user. In my opinion, not all end user knew about GD appraisal. its the name which get sold.
Sold Decentralized/Exchange/io for $300
Marketplace: GD Auctions
Handreg: 11/3/2018
This is my 2nd sale on GD Auction. Only interesting thing about this sale is that I had let the domain drop and the sale came out of nowhere. It was already past 45 days after expiration, so after doing some math and consulting with a few guys here that I usually run to whenever I have a question I decided to redeem it and complete the sale. Lessened the ROI but still profitable. I have a feeling it was snapped up by a fellow domainer.
I regged this back in 2018 just a few months after I started domaining for $48. (Didn't know there are cheaper registrars then ).
Yes. At the very least low $xxxxhigh $x,xxx name
Well I did offer it here several times publicly and privately to several people for lesser and was told it wasn't worth reg fee :p Hopefully the new owner (If a domainer) will report it here if he makes the big bucks.Yes. At the very least low $xxxx
Never offer your domain here if you want to make any money.Well I did offer it here several times publicly and privately to several people for lesser and was told it wasn't worth reg fee

In that case then I'll request NP to remove my sales report above, just incase the buyer didn't wish his acquisition to be public knowledge. The new owner is a namepros member and posted last week they had bought the name and shared it in one of the crypto threads.
Can you tell us an estimate of how many times you have been contacted as possible buyers all the years you owned it ?contacted via GoDaddy broker from "Domain Buy Service"
