hello all,

i was looking at registering some

?????discounts.com domains.

do you think an adress ending in discounts.com is a good descriptive memorable domain?

i notice buydomains has alot on their books at big resale prices.

http://www.buydomains.com/find-premium-domains/search-results.jsp?
keywords=discounts&x=38&y=13

do you think they have a future?

i see the words "DISCOUNTS" everywhere in malls etc so its a pretty familiar term to most people.

what are your thoughts please? good or bad?

If its a major keyword, absolutely.

I think on services and goods, it definetly has a chance. Especially higher-end items.

xxxxDiscounts... I would try to keep it short if your are going to go that route and It would really need to be developed in order to succeed, now discounts.mobi on the other hand ... I would make an offer. :kickass:

I prefer it as a prefix... DiscountAnything.com. That way you are focusing on the product instead of the discount.

It depends on the other keywords, but I would generally think these are very desirable.

how do you compare discounts with "cheap" which is 5-character.

I have http://umpccheap.com, do you think umpcdiscounts would be better?
