I would have to agree with Wyatt on this one. The theories and the so called vidoe proof is hogwash and can I say "photoshoped". The theory videos can be spliced and diced as well. And many of them are just plain shotty footage tweaked or manipulated if you really look at the theory video footages.

The flag was waving in the video footage. It was a ploy for the united states to gain morale in the tight competition against the soviet union.

Of course, we've made it to the moon since then.

i think we did go to the moon, but half of the photos are fake

i watched a very interesting theory/documentary a while back.

Basically, the US were so determined to beat the soviet union to the moon that they did a massive propaganda campaign to excite the nation about space travel. For example, we got a lot of scifi ish tv/movie shows such as star trek or space odessy from that time. Hollywood started glamorizing space travel to get the nation excited about the space program.

As the moon launch neared, many govt officials were afraid that the mission would unsuccessful....and that the astronauts would not get back....

so they made fake photo shoots of the astronauts on the moon w/the American flag and all.

Critics cite that the photos are to good to be real...that the american flag appears to be waving, and that given the moons gravity....that it's impossible to get a giant footprint in the moon's surface as shown.

all in all, i believe that we did land on the moon.... but I also believe the photos are fake.....in the event that the mission was unsucessful and to keep the nation interested in the space program...

it's really not that hard to believe, the govt can make us believe anything....

it is funny to note though...that once the govt realized there was nothing special on the moon...no gold, no silver, no resource...funding was cut, and moon landings (along with more photos) became few and far between.

i think it's important (especially when it comes to the US Government) to keep our minds open to all possibilities... while i do believe we did go to the moon, i also believe the govt has the ability to manipulate
