I had a similar experience before, however this time, I think I did get lucky.

I just regged Stopover.us and NightOver.org

Here are the EstiBot stats for them:

Domain Stopover.us

Keywords (User-Defined) stopover
Frequency 2,870,000
Anchor Text 34,300
Title 45,900
Backlinks 0
Alexa Ranking 86,089
Estimated Traffic / Day 860
PPC Advertising Score 0/10
Exact Searches/mo 200

Domain Nightover.org
Keywords (User-Defined) nightover
Frequency 3,420
Anchor Text 3,180
Title 26
Backlinks 0
Alexa Ranking 86,089
Estimated Traffic / Day 860
PPC Advertising Score 0/10
Search Potential/mo 0

Now I checked Alexa.
It seems to me that Nightover.com was some website that is now defunct. I regged the .net, the .info, and the .us extensions too.

Can someone tell me whats happening, or should I just burst my bubble?

.US domains.US domains
Stopover.us might make a nice US Hotel site, tied into flight stopovers.
But if you want a dollar value will have to go with low-mid$xx.

Nightover? It isn't a word I'm familiar with.

Good Luck

I was asking for the appraisal because of the Alexa rank
its 86,000

and I was wondering what that would add to the value

both names came out with the same alexa, did that not strike you as being an error?

check alexa.com

edit; seems they were redirected to one another, had massive traffic a few months ago and has died off, might still get some tho

it did strike me as an error, thats why I posted here for your guys help
stopover seems to have been redirected to Nightover.org, and so did all the other extensions
it seems that Nightover.org was the main site

Yes, they were redirected, had a burst of traffic which has dwindled. Today their rank is 107,184 and it's going worse fast. EstiBot gives the correct and up-to-date rank and although the traffic estimate is not based on Alexa ranking, it may be overestimating the traffic, because the resources used are not updated any faster than the Alexa rank.

I'll add a link to the Alexa ranking so that the user can immediately see the trend curve. It's always worth doing the research yourself, too. The trend curve at Alexa is not pretty to look at...

Still, I'm sure some little part of the traffic will remain for some time, hopefully you will be able to monetize it with hotel themed adsense.

Besides, stopover.us is a nice and potentially valuable domain name in itself, definitely worth regging so I think you came out on top.

Good luck,
Josh
