Dictionary words DOT TV

Hello, I've been looking at some .TV domains that I can hand reg and i've found quite a few dictionary words that havn't been taken.

Would it be a good investment to buy some of these domains? I dont want to say the dictionary words incase someone goes and buys them but they are not so every day use... but the DOT COM alternatives of these are worth an aweful lot.

yes there are many many opportunities in .tv ......many believe that the web and tv are on a collision course and .tv is the place to be when they collide !!!!!

The web and television may well be on a "collision course". That may or may not mean much to .TV. I have avoided .TV because of the high renewal cost and a feeling that if .TV were to be accepted and used then that use would be centralized on only a few "channels". You would need a lot of content for a successful .TV site.

I do not want to be a naysayer, goodness knows I hear enough of that in the investments that I have, but I would recommend caution and the main rule when considering speculative investments: Diversify.

i have more .coms than .tv's , but these are maybe the days to get a .tv bargain , hey i got some .info's as well ......... so i hear what your saying , but my freesexchannel*tv does get some type ins also celebrityshow*tv seems to get some interest , my advice is find some that is visual for .tv

I have quite a few excellent keyword .tv's that fit the extension perfectly and I couldnt touch them in .com Just waiting for my pay day

beet.tv is not about beets, mercedes benz uses it to showcase their productline, rhino.tv is not about rhinos, teachers.tv is not a show about teachers, recipes.tv is used by Dole, eyeQ.tv is to showcase a product, and many words are being used in a brandable way: blip.tv, Lulu.tv, Fuse.tv, etc....

.tv is not so much about "can it be a tv show" but "can you show a video"- and if you have wandered through youtube, you can show a video on just about anything
