DESCRIPTION:
Up for sale is a rather new site, but has huge potential. Simply put, this site offers 100% free forum avatars. (Also used for MSN Display Pictures) There are currently 5500+ avatars in the database. This is not a turnkey site, I worked very hard to put these images together. The site has a few features to note, such as categories, sorting types, a comment feature (currently not enabled, can be at the click of the mouse) Has some other features like ordering, what category to display on index, etc.
My favourite thing about Dexj is the ease of adding avatars to the site. Let's say you have 100 pictures on your desktop, in a folder labeled "wallpapers". If you were to upload that folder into the root of the script, all of those pictures would be added to the site, and under the category "wallpapers". Easy, right? I may add a couple thousand more before the sale, who knows. I've got a collection of some pictures I've gathered on my HDD still not uploaded. I'm lazy, hehe.
That's really the great thing about it, other avatar/display picture sites have a system where they upload and category an image through the script, which may take one minute per image to add. You could add 100 in minutes, depending how fast your connection to FTP is.
I'll be honest, I am certainly not in any "rush" to sell the site, but I do need some cash, so if I sell it, great, I have some cash. If not, I have a good site, and can sell something else for some money.
Stats... revenue... are rather minimal. Site has really just "officially released" today.
