And yes gprix, the name could be worth over 10,000, but they need the next pet rock or pokemon idea and development. Those don't grow on trees. Still I wouldnt mind having a deskpet at the office.

OP, I would investigate this more. Just an idea, but maybe something like cute stress balls.

'desk pets' seems to be a live trademark by one corp, though many companies seem to have products they call desk pets. DeskPets.com redirects to some health site and the dot.net is doing nothing. Your singular domain is neat, also taken in dot.net but it's doing nothing.

Desk pet trademark holder seems to be doing nothing noticeable with it yet as far as I can find, so you may be safe holding on to this. Your name needs branding, as it doesn't get many searches (desktopPet/s get more searches but both are taken). Depending on an end user, you might sell for as little as low xxx or up into the x,xxx or higher. Never can tell with this kind of name. I like it, very brandable (obviously, since it already is )
