Do you guys think this is an under-sale? Because I sure do.

Deleted.com sold via Sedo for $1000. That means after all transaction fees, the seller will end up with under $900 for Deleted.com.

Very cheap IMO. Lucky buyer. :$:

Deleted.com was recently sold. Nitro Four is now the new owner, and they plan to launch a new service on this domain.

Thanks, Joseph Slabaugh (Mr. Deleted)

It is sad to let my name go, but I think the new owner will build it up better then I ever could have done.

Yes, I sold it for 1K plus webdesign for a bunch of my aprox 200 names. I think it will be for the best that I get my sites off the ground.

I as others have said i hope you got your solicitors to draw up a contract, because letting a name like that go for $1k was extremely low.

I also hope the company you sold too are local would be very easy for someone the otherside of the world to sell the new name for profit and slip out of existence..

I wish you the very best bud, iam sure you have taken care of everything.

Actually, deleted.com had been hijacked 3 times and the owner had to go thru a lot, a lot of headeach each time!

Gotta be a mistake. I know deleted.com was hijacked from the dnf'er awhile back and he had just got it back not too long ago.

edit: Apparently, there's more to the deal than the 1k sale.

Good deal if you have no design skills/coding and 200 domains to develop

Bad deal if you were selling for the best price.

What is it about seeing a name for sale that makes you tired ? Just seems a really funny post. You don't need to let domain names affect you this way !

If this name dropped on snapnames it would go for crazy money.

IMO, went for low price.

Ouch

The seller should have tested the domain at auction with a high reserve on ebay and tdnam first before trading it for website work and 300 gallons of gasoline. He could have realized at auction enough money to pay for website work and a PhD in computer science, and possibly its degree-granting university.

I would have traded him free legal work for life, my first newborn and $30,000 for deleted.com. Anyone want to tell the seller what she or he would have traded for deleted.com?

I think deleted.com is worth about 10k. Interesting that on eBay the auction is up to $42k, although the highest bidder has no auction history (could be a fake bid.)

I don't like a "0" feedback bidder being the high bidder this early either, but with the ease of fake feedback on eBay anyway...
Far be it from me to value the domain, but I think that auction is one of the best methods for valuating a domain, as theorhetically it will rise to $1 more than the next highest price any individual is willing to pay.
Here's to hoping that all's legit!

Don't make it worse then it was, it was 2 times, not 3.
