Good morning .X.

If you read the bottom it appears ActiveAudience did the opposite, switching from Google To Yahoo.

Yeah, NameMedia owns both GoldKey.com and ActiveAudience.com , They had tried Google syndication and went back to their original syndication provider, Yahoo, At least that is my understanding any way.

I dunno why in the hell not. Don't get carried away here,

(1)Classified ads as in the local news paper? Sounds good to me.
(2)Clasified ads on CareerBuilder? If you can afford it! Be Great!
(3)Spamming Craigs list in a way the employees call or email Parked and complain? I don't think so!
(4)Sleeping until noon and click your own ads? AHAh No Nada

***In case your wondering, I do none of these...Ever!

Bambang, If I can give you any helpful info, It would probably be HAVE Common Sense and remember, it's like anything else, If it seems too good to be true*Proceed with CAUTION. *******Normally the answer would be IT IS but this is domaining and there's still a few open doors. Be creative, like an artist of domaining and Be open minded.

It never hurts to call your parking manager, Ask the specific questions you want answers to, You are far better asking, Before doing anything...bambang... The case of a seasoned domainer, getting banned by their provider for advertising on their vehicle is a great case.

The problem i think companies are against advertising via news paper and ect, Is that a person can make an ad so deceiving , Such as , "Get This Free!!" And their landing page is about "Real Estate" , Not that the person advertising this , would get any clicks, the most likely wouldn't, But i think parking companies don't want such advertising tactics , bringing traffic to thier landers.

One thing to think about, If you had a rear window decal made, with only your domain name on it, www. lmkioutyv.com , Would this be deceiving way to advertise your name? I don't think so, It would be pure typein traffic

don't drive, PARK it!

Yes, a small ad in your car rear window is against most parking programs policy.

Is it new domainers who keep asking if its ok to place ads, banners, signs on cars for parked names?

Why not a airpalne ad banner? They don't spell that out so maybe its ok, lol.

Your parked names need to bring traffic on their own. Its not difficult to understand that they are not websites where the owner can decide what goes on the page or where to advertise it.

Parked pages are a partnership with a parking company.

They call it a parking company because they want you to pick keywords and then PARK IT.

Park it means that, it does not mean DRIVE it, or in other words they don't want you to DRIVE traffic to it.

Park it and leave it alone, thats domain parking.

If you want to bring traffic to your domain names you want to make your own websites out of the domains and parking is NOT for you.

Perhaps you mis unstood me, I was speaking of having a simple die cut decal on the back of car window, like NamePros.com , How is there a problem with that??

And the company i park with, has no problem with 100% legit traffic, being from arbitrage , Neither does Parked.com :tu:

So far i would say..Donny and Parked.com are the leader of choice, atleast to me ... Parked.com you Rock!! :tu:

Not saying I'm right but this is where we disagree.

**Let's just say I'm a major mfg of a product (any product) in this case we'll say Ping Pong balls. I run ads looking for more customers, I find that it really increases my sales drastically so I contact Yahoo (Or what ever the feed provider is) I find out the majority of my customers are coming from CheapPingPongBalls,,Name. I look up the owner and find out he lives in my state but he/she doesn't answer the phone so I drive to their house and upon arrival I see planes with CheapPingPongBalls,,Name, I see 4 Hummers with CheapPingPongBalls,,Name all over them the house lights up in neon displaying it and there's people on every corner displaying signs. They tell me this is going on every where.

I give that person props and an (A) for their efforts. I say keep up the good work. Why would anyone feel any different.

Read my earlier post that the name has to be descriptive. You would have to describe the product in the name for this to work.

I agree 100% , Nice post , They are not "deceiving" in their advertising , Simply putting "CheapPingPongBalls.com" on their vehicle, If thats a crime by any parking company, we definitely have problems!

haha,
If that wasnt the most obvious/blatent/shameless
pimp my site linking I would delete it...
but the way you worked that in deserves one index.

Dont do it again though, live linking to parked pages
is against NP rules.

Cy, take a look at the Bodis thread or most of the Parking provider pages.

You'll find tons of parked pages being linked.

Good luck on deleting them all ;)

This thread isnt about examples of parked pages.

I stumbled upon this parking service, http://www.19parking.com/about_us.html anyone ever parked with them?

A little update on my research: As of right now, I highly recommend , Parked.com , Why?

They use Yahoo syndication, Donny at Parked.com has gone far out of his way to clarify Parked.com position, On allowed methods of traffic, By Donny doing this, It shows the true integrity of Parked.com. I have yet to find this in any other parking service , up to this point.

What in my opinion, Parked.com could make better.

Larger landing pages, or templates, In my experiences, When a person land on a page that has a very small template, they automatically know it is a parked domain.

The ONE click lander that Parked offers, Is outstanding, imo. Very Nice!

The TWO click landers need a larger template, with left to right navigation options, Something along the lines of what GoldKey offers, Would be awesome.

In my valuations, I have taken everything into consideration, From all the parking services, Parked.com simply stands alone as the leader.

Parked.com is for all domainers, You don't have a limit on the amount of names you must own. A++++++++

Parked.com offers an extremely nice, and simple to use, user panel. A++++

Parked.com offers one of the best monetization methods i have seen, And it is simple even for a beginner to use. A++++++

Parked.com understands that other traffic sources can bring high quality traffic, and allow arbitrage methods to domainers to be able to maximize their parking income, Now before anyone gets overwhelmed by the use of arbitrage, And thinks any way of driving traffic via arbitrage is okay, That is not the case, Parked.com is fair and ethical in their business practice, If you are going to use arbitrage with Parked.com, I suggest you consult with your manager at Parked, Before doing so. A++++++++++++++++++++

Donny, We thank you for a parking service that represents the domainer, We thank you for being a part of this thread, helping us understand various aspects of domain parking. You have gone far and beyond what anyone would have expected.

With all the above said, I personally make Parked.com the choice in domain parking. Although i do use one other parking service, I am hoping for a nice larger template based two click lander at Parked, So i can move my whole portfolio to Parked.com

I know i haven't called you yet Donny, I have been extremely busy,Wedding anniversary, Being out of town a lot on business, And apologize to you, As i was supposed to call you, I absolutely will call you, and look forward to talking with you :)

They say:Every client to date has seen an increase in revenue

The more your portfolio earns daily, the higher % they pay, I like that.

Says they will have a booth at T.r.a.f.f.i.c Miami

A lot going on in the Caymans with domains, . I'm guessing no taxes on domains but there may be more to it than that as a lot of the industries biggest players domain out of or through the caymans.

Very interesting find there John. Their templates look pretty neat. I might give them a try. :)

In the meanwhile I did try to sign up with parkingdots, premiumtraffic etc. I wanted to try out their services, but it looks like these guys act the high handed way of wanting the big names with 10K hits a day... for approval. They just don't get the theme, that unless people try your service with a smaller portfolio, you will never be able to gain any reviews or feedback and are completely off the radar from most domaineers.

I sincerely feel these days that companies like parked.com, bodis, namedrive, 1plus, Fab and even parking panel who come to the board and answer questions are better off and have nothing to hide. These are more transparent companies who really deserve our domain traffic. :)
