Go to ai.com, it will redirect to DeepSeek.

Anyone knows any details about the deal?

It doesnt look like it was sold to them.. just the owner redirecting to get their attention is my guess.

It hasn't been confirmed. The owner of AI.com initially redirected it to chatgpt, then to Grok and now to deepseek.

They are flirting with these companies to try and draw attention to the name. It is currently evaluated at USD $50 million, i think they are trying to push for more..

I think all such buys are Political. Such buy as AI.com itself, must be considered on higher levels, because touches all world, so we are not speaking here about "Market buy".

AI.com can be the most expensive domain sales ever, more valuable than S*X.com.

Yes indeed, it seems the owner is playing around to bring attention on it!
Very smart! It could be the highest sale ever done in the whole domain history

In an industry where trillions of dollars are flying in the air, I would sell AI.com for at least 1 billion USD and leave a golden mark on the domain market.

DeepSeek could sue for Fraud and Identity Theft? They are trying to add value by suggesting that ai.com is owned by DeepSeek. This is a URL forward and not a hyperlink. Most people would assume that DeepSeek owns the domain and if it is developed it would be a DeepSeek brand site. The snapshot is in Archive.org now. My thoughts only and I wouldn't try this.

Sorry to disappoint you all but AI,com and any other extension of AI is not the most important domain in the world, this is why go grow potatoes. :glasses:

Recently, the top-level domain ai.com was redirected to DeepSeek's official website. Although there is no official confirmation of the details of the transaction, judging from the domain name jump, DeepSeek has obviously become the new "home" of this domain name.

If I owned that domain I would sell sub domains off it now, you can sell about 100 million sub domains for 10 dollars a year easy. Some premium ones can go for a lot. Owner of that name is really missing out. It is not complex to setup, shame because this trend will go away.
