This is a new version of my current tech deals website, dealfiesta.com.

Deal Fiesta is different from the rest in that it lets you view and search tech deals from 4 of the top deal websites. It also has the best deals in a "top picks" section and webmaster deals.

The site uses AJAX, by the way. You can click and drag the deal boxes around! You can even change the RSS feed of a box!

1. Do you like the layout and look of the site?
2. Did you find the website useful?
3. What do you think is the site's best feature?
4. Is the site worth returning to? If not, why?

I really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

1. The look of the site is alright. The fiesta is partially bloced with a "V 2.0" stamp, which looks bad imo. when the smallest width is selected, the adsense awkwardly sticks out over the right hand side. The whole website is waaaay to busy for me to be bothered to even start reading anything.

2. no. I didn't really look though it much. lol sorry - What is it all about? It looks like deals on hardware or something... but whats all the web 2.0 thing all about?

3. Sites best feature... err... :?

4. Not really - if I wanted a bargain, I woudl go to rpoints or something and use that kinda community based website rather than this website.

In conclusion...
...I think the website is really confusing. It looks like a web-tools website, and not a "deals" website. I could have it all wrong, lol. Look at http://rpoints.com or http://cantbarsed.co.uk. Those are deal websites! :D Yours really looks like some tech-forum-thing. It even has the tacky forum-esque poll on the homepage.

Also, whats with the ajax thing? There is really no point. People who want bargains and deals and stuff aren't really bothered with moving boxes around a screen (although I found it incredibly fun). They are there to look for deals and bargains.

Thanks for the review PoorDoggie.

The main purpose of the site is to allow visitors to view 8 tech deal websites at once (that's what the AJAX boxes are for). By being able to view the latest deals from the 8 top tech deal websites at once, visitors can quickly and easily find great deals instead of visiting 8 different websites.

The site loads slow.
I don't like how you have the deals displayed on these scrollable mini-windows.
You might be better off integrating the deals from these sites on your layout.

if they are just rss feeds, just desecrate them using some fancy xml functions in php and integrate them into your site without the fancy ajax! Normal people won't "get it", if you know what I mean. Just because they are tech deals, dosen't mean its geeky technophiles who are going to use your site. :D
