Dav3.US for the Namepros Hall of Fame

After noticing Jeff in the hall of fame, where can i view it .

IMHO, Dav3.us needs to be in there for the simple fact that his reputation is the ONLY ONE in the whole forum with:

dav3.us has achieved greatness :hehe: .

When they were retired from their positions, Armstrong, Grrilla, and Jeff were inducted by -db- as the first three members of the NamePros Hall of Fame. They were three members of the NamePros Management Team that helped provide crucial direction for the community during it's early years.

Sam, I like your nomination of Dave. Besides being the first to "achieve greatness" with his reputation, he's got over 13,000 posts and was the first two-time Member of the Month winner. The forum just wouldn't be the same without him.

We don't have a formal process for selecting HOF members yet. Hopefully when Tim returns this is something we can work on. :]

Thanks for the comments and votes of confidence but I think the NamePros Hall of Fame should be reserved for former Staff.. Jeff, Armstrong, and Grrilla put in alot of hard work, let's not take that away from them! I've been honored with my two MOTM awards.. that's recognition enough for me, thanks!

Dave is certainly a legendary NP member. Certainly if there is a hall of fame, he deserves to be in it.

And I personally think Dave would make a great mod of the Break Room. Bill and Dave would make a great team. :p

:lol: I think Bill's doing a great job by himself! Part of the fun in posting for me is not having "any" responsibility.

For those of you who are unaware, I accepted a mod position here long ago, then "turned in my badge" after a couple days because I'd rather be a "player" on the team than a "manager".. thanks again, all!

I look at the "Hall Of Fame" as a way to remember those who are no longer (or rarely) around NamePros anymore who have given their all to the community / made a major impact on the way NamePros is today.

Therefore, unless Dave leaves tomorrow (I hope not!) I don't think he belongs in the Hall Of Fame.
However, he does deserve the respect of the members and staff here as he is an invaluable member of the community.
