Data on DN Sales Figures from the Past?

I am looking for sales figures for domain names going back at least 3 yrs and preferably more, as part of a project I am working on. I would like to do some research on the sales prices of different name types, particularly 3 char and AA dictionary words, as well as do case studies on names that may have enough sales history info available, as a means of demonstrating how domain name prices have evolved over time. I think that being able to offer a historic perspective of prices to the enduser, would be a helpful aid for all of us, in marketing our names. :talk:
Finding historical data, however, is not proving to be easy. If someone has already done a study of this sort, please let me know. TX
