Good luck, seems you have some great .xyz's

It's a good keyword, but not really what has been selling in .XYZ.

What has been selling are more branding type words to tech companies, specifically web3.

The field is also limited IMO. There is just not as much money in dance as tech.

It's still a good term, though I have no idea about the value or probability of selling.

great name, the renewal cost is a killer but if you can afford it I guess it isn't a problem

Very hard to come up with a use case for this in web3
There is a reason it went for so low on the auction. I saw it and didn't bid despite seeing the low bid.. If it were a regular renewal, It would have been worth a punt.

Maybe try auctioning on SAV and see if you can salvage XXX

This doesn't mean it won't sell 100%. But if it does it will be a lotto. Because the probability is low, but then you mostly sell wholesale, so you will most certainly find a buyer at your usual ROI.

You have a chance there but the renewal fee kills it.

Not sure how much liquidity these people/companies will have though.....something to look into perhaps.
Thank you very much @NickB , I will try to contact them.

Ouch.

I personally have no interest in registries that have premium registration and/or renewal fees and tiers.

It is a good term, but that holding cost is extreme.

Considering the renewal fee, it’s worth about 1 year of holding cost imo - $650

Yeah, the math doesn't really work when it comes to standard sell-through rates.

If you priced this at say $15K and it had a 1-2% chance to sell yearly you would be out $32,500 - $65,000 by the time it sold in renewal fees.

To make this math work you really need to sell domains for much higher prices or far more often.

These type of renewal fees really are an anchor when it comes to domain investing.

Sell it while you can.

Price could be mid XXXX. But no small dance studio is going to buy it. Maybe a company with the name/word "Dance", but I dont think they would do an XYZ.

If history is accurate, it was dropped in 2018 and stayed that way for over 3 years.
Investors would already have bought this and held it, not let it sit for 3 years, if it were valuable.

Due to the renewal fee and the history, I would not renew it at all.

Add 10k price everywhere, but don't renew. Someone who wants to promote .xyz extension may buy, even if there is no real enduser buyer.
