Dammit, help!

I need some advise people. I have added a proxy on pcwebtalk.com around 7 days ago, and ever since it has got me more and more and more traffic until my server goes down a few times every day due to the fact i cannot handle it.

I got mentioned on a local radio station which covers the whole county (around 100,000 listen), and my traffic has skyrocketed so much, my server just crashs and losing it.

Yesterday, my account used 44% of the server resources, and today it is over 50%. It is getting too much and will need some advise on what exactly i can do next. I cannot afford to upgrade the server, and i do not want to abuse my free traffic.

What can i do now to fix the problem?

(ps: If it does not load it is probably down.)

-> Remove the proxy.
-> Upgrade server
-> Link to someone elses proxy for a price

Get a powerful VDS just for the proxy, or charge for it's use to upgrade.

I would personally stick more ads on, maybe exit popups.

Everyone - Since the traffic boost has decreased slightly, i will leave it for a few days and see what happens, but if i win (Colin knows what i am on about), i will change it to the cgi alternative.
