Has anyone worked out why cypherpunk.com has sold for so much? Almost a typo of Cyberpunk, not a good reason to buy a domain for 30k!!!

 

Maybe because it's a super cool name? Why would anyone need a reason other than that?

I've just realised that cypherpunk is actually a think outside of the emergence of the new game franchise, so there is hope.

 

Do some quick research about "cypherpunks"

These are basically the architects (cryptographers/engineers/devs) if you will of the Bitcoin and distributed ledger technology (DLT) space.

 

Just Googled it and it has it's own Wikipedia Page describing what it is......

"A cypherpunk is any individual advocating widespread use of strong cryptography and privacy-enhancing technologies as a route to social and political change."

Could be a buy that got caught up in the Bitcoin hype.....have not checked if it has a decent backlink either, which could have some bearing on the price if someone wants to check it out....

 

Overvalued I agree ..but Sajfer is good word even if it’s spelled as Cypher
