Hi

I just finished uploading our latest site, which quite frankly not that new but
with a new look and new personality. www.CyberPK.com is based on our
old site, also known as NetBuddy.. We were running netbuddy for past 2 years
This is the third time we're changing its name as we aren't getting the name we think is good for it, but finally i hope this will be our final change.

Hopefully i'm hear for a review of the new design and layout we turned it into
we've changed many stuff but not all because the time issues, the header if you also think we put some great effort in making it look cool enough.

I also changed the layout but i am still not sure of the coloring on all pages
if you check the other pages such as the softwares home or games home
you would notice the colors get changed that was the old look.

I am also going to add many new features to the site such as program rating and how many times has it been downloaded, etc.

it would be nice if you can check out the site and tell me your tips
that you think could help me improve the site.

The header needs more work. The jagged edges of your title shows up, did you crop them or something? You could probably change the font, create a logo, and change the background as well, coz the moving clouds aren't really suited to the theme.

Please check the spelling of "Sponsored" in your ad box. You have written it there as "Sponsered".

The ad box is centered, but the three columns underneath are left-aligned.

You can also try placing some content on the index page, aside from just the short welcome message so that it doesn't look so empty when one visits the site.

Yes same resolution here and same problem u should center the left navigation table instead of keeping it aligned on the left . Center the whole site.

Its simple design. Look like it didnt take long to make. Honestly i think it needs a new design or more work added to tha one u have now.

I dont like the header part, try to view your site using firefox and ei, the header is not constant, it's like 100% width on IE but not on FF. Like everybody else said, you should align your left,and right sidebar.Also looks like a website that offering crack/serials. :imho:

I also agree with eli03...the header MUST be changed since it ruins the rest of the site.

I'd also lose the javascript menu because it's better for the site's indexing and navigation.

wow... nicely done, i like the Our Network thingy... lol its cool, but in a bad place... maybe put it on the right rather then the left of the page? or make it just a java popup of some sort? lol dono just its in a bad position... left, top, & mid all look awsome. great site...

also sorry guys i just made this on IE 6 with 800x600 resolution

I am going to test it on the resolutions, and make the adjustments
eli03 - i'm not giving any crack or serials on the site every thing
putted on the site is 100% legal, none of them are cracks
some are demo / trial / and some are free.

Nice color scheme however the site looks jumbled, you need to get everything aligned properly with the long navigation on the left and nothing in the center it looks empty. Not a bad site but definitely needs some work.

Thanks guys for the help, i managed to work it more and made some changes
including alignment measures, and also content including it wasn't much
but i just have so much to do and so little time for it

Hope it looks goods for every one now :D

It needs a lot of work. To start you need to play around with the header. If you want some help let me know. Just pm me or join my forum on my site, which is in my sig, and I can help out.

Lookin good! But I have to admit that I don't like the header.

1. I don't think the flash banner at the top is necessary. Should change that to just a JPEG or something, in my opinion.

2. The navigation links at the very top are too spread out in my opinion. Maybe you could get rid of those ones, and just have the navigation links down the side.

Other than that, it looks quite good.

i'm going to update the flash header with a gif banner
but i recently have gotten a good replies from visitors regarding the header that it looks good for them. well anyways i just want this issue sorted out

I also am posting this to say about a tutorial / article system which i will soon be completed, a quick preview can be found at www.devdb.net

PLEASE NOTE :- the demo that is running there is quite an old version.
more work has been done on it. as well as its main gui completed i am also
soon going to upload that, the beta will be out in 2 or 3 days now.
i am planning to put this as an open source but yet haven't decided just need to ask some people about it. but hopefully i will be giving out few copies of it to NP members and also our forum members. :D will post a seperate thread for this when i put out the beta

NOTE :- the uploaded version on devdb.net has nothing more then a few member features. i was trying to look for bugs in it but didn't able to find any yet i have practically gotten about 3,000 unique visits on the script yet but no problem yet found in it. (lol i just want to make sure that it doesn't bring and bugs issue in the login system because its one of the biggest issues in development series.)

well thats if you have any comments on either cyberpk.com or devdb.net please do post them :D
