Naw, someone named Vaxis ran it up to $116, not as bad as it was starting to look! Domain probably isn't worth it, but it was callin' to me..... "RW....RW.....RW.....open your wallet....." Kinda eerie, lol. Must be the Halloween Spirit of Spending!

Just advice: A lot of folks use the same names at snap, etc., that they use at the domain forums. Might do a look-see around.

So if the auction is over, what name was calling to you?

Kinda silly, but the name was:

RedneckDictionary.com

I have a few redneck related humor sites, such as www.buddhabubba.com that it would fit in with. There were 1840 some searches in september through overture for 'redneck dictionary', lol, so I may just redirect it to my Bubba site. Or, I may put up a Jeff Foxworthy/Blue Collar Comedy Amazon page, or a fan club/forum... I dunno.

Would have been awesome for a competitor to urbandictionary.com , etc.

User editable dictionary, develops content all by itself!@

HotScripts has a few dozen user-editable dictionaries. The good ones cost about $29 (Already set up like urbandictionary.com) , but are well worth it as installation is a breeze.
Then just some promotion on the college age websites and you're golden.
Nice name, :)

bikini.net $21,805.00 vaxis 24-Aug-2005
salestraining.com $85,200.00 vaxis 07-Dec-2004

I beat out saggydimes the other day, but lost to royce @ nearly $1,000. Anyone know anything about "royce"?

This is the domain that snapnames didn't really 'acquire', and cancelled after they had placed it in my account and sent me a 'congratulations' email.... as you can see I was pretty excited about this domain, unfortunately it did not work out.... the registrar that sent the name out as expiring apparently didn't actually have that domain regged there, still, and they did not send out a clean database of names for grabbing. You can catch the details in the 'other' thread, if interested.

I haven't made it back to snapnames since then, kinda discouraged. Been bidding on domains through namewinner.com .
