Hi, I am Alok, I belong to India and this is going to be the next big market for domains. I feel that growth of Internet in India would be more similar to China, in local language, and unlike UK and USA. in China, mutual funds are investing in domain names and India can definitely follow the same path. But to popularize domaining in India Hindi and other regional languages will play a very crucial role.
Why Hindi?
Hindi is the national language of India and connects the country in a great way. 800 Million people can speak Hindi and around 100 million people can understand Hindi language. As per Google, Hindi is one of the fastest growing language in India and soon we will have 500 million internet users.
So, I have recently launched a small website dnbz.in about Domaining in Hindi language. It hardly has 2-3 stories and I am planning to write about domaining from scratch. I have worked with leading Hindi News brands of India and I just fall in love with domaiing and I am planning to devote full time to this project.
I am looking forward for financial help of $1-50 per month (more than this is welcome but do not want to over burden a person) till I start earning same amount from Advertisements and other sources. I want to achieve the figure of $1,000 per month where I can market this project comfortably.
I know very well how to monetize the content on internet but just going through some rough patches otherwise I would have done it with my own savings.
I will keep 100% Transparency and update about all transactions. I will be connecting with Godaddy, Bigrock, .ooo registry and other domain industry players to help in this project. Please help me in this task, it will be for larger good of the domaining community.
I will be accepting payment through Paypal, so will share the email id personally.
I am a hardcore media professional and love the content in Hindi language, if you do not want to give the money thats fine but your views, criticism and suggestions are always welcome. I am not a scammer or want to run away with the money, I believe in power of collective efforts thus want to use Namepros as platform for crowd funding.
