Very nice sale :) Good generic short .info's are getting great prices, I also think because the .info can be used for any country in the world that there are probably much more potential end users for them :)

I'd like to know if that was a "Featured listing" or not and also what the % is on domains sold there are from that list.

Nice sale there, maybe .info's value's will start to increase.. hmm :)

That's a good sale. You would think creditcards.info would sell for a price like that, not the singular..

Hmmm, if the seller holds on to it a little bit longer, i would think he would have received more for that domain.

Not necessarily, the .info allows for it to be branded as "Credit Card Information" which, IMHO, works a lot better than "Credit Cards Information" since you typically get one credit card at a time - I hope that is, at least.

It's definitely a nice sale for the .info extension and I think it's a fair price, one that each party can walk away satisfied with. The seller in this case may have wanted to move out the domain for a myriad of reasons. I think you can almost always say that if you hold on to a domain longer, you could get more when it's not a time sensitive name.

Nice sale -- .info is finally starting to reach the next stage of maturity. It will be interesting to see who bought it -- perhaps an end user?

That's true. In fact, we'll be hearing about mid 5-figure sales soon and within a year or two the first 6-figure sale for a .info.

True, but you could say "Information on Credit Cards" instead of "Credit Card Information" - works just the same, imo.

Specifically, I wonder if it was Amex, MC or Disc who bought it. Although, the market is strong enough to support middle or even low players investing in the domain.

Hmm - this is a bit scary D-: I don't know if this is the new owner or not but at the moment it is parked at sedo and in the discription it says :

Independently appraised by allfordomains.com at $250k.

AllForDomains.com/appraisal.asp?Domain=creditcard.info

What do you make of that one ? we all know of the bad rep about allfordomains which comes up often.

Seems like a good domain investment actually. Credit card applications pay HUGE (up to $80 each!).

If you can get the right traffic there you could pay it off in less than a year easy.

I know the buyer of this domain, and it is an investment rather than end user. an absolutely brilliant purchase IMO, I wish I had spotted it.
