Hello namepros,

do you have ideas how it is possible to promote the own domain portfolio so more people inquire domain names?

I will start with a first idea: I attended a live event in london (crypto fair) and talked with several people about my domains. Days later many investment firms contacted me and asked for the price of a domain.

Do you have a idea you successfully executed to promote domains?
Please share it with us.

Taking more or less effort and being more or less effective, there are many ways to market a domain name including:
  • Domain Marketplace: Sedo, Dan GoDaddy, Sav, etc.
  • Domain Broker: VPN, Brannans, Saw, et al.
  • Custom cold emails to likely buyers. Not SPAM which can garner fines and get you kicked off your email platform; also we can't be friends.
  • Maintain an opt-in newsletter and send listings to interested parties
  • Build a portfolio website with all your domain names
  • Build a landing page or website using the specific domain name
  • Run PPC text or banner ads and send visitors to your for sale page
  • Write guest posts on sites and forums related to the domain's industry and point to your real estate
  • Hire influencers to name drop your domain
  • Keep business cards with your portfolio domain. Make them available where potential customers are: conferences, trade shows, restaurant community boards, etc.
  • Be a guest expert on an industry show and teach them the value of a premium domain and how to find valid options
  • Publish a press release
  • Wear branded hats/tshirts or have car magnets/travel mugs with your portfolio domain
  • Be a resource to reporters at HARO, Terkel, etc
  • Your own social media and comments on those of the domain's industry
  • Rent a billboard. do radio or podcast ads, do skywriting or a banner behind a plane, and other traditional methods
Obviously the resources expended needs to be in line with the projected income, but the ways to market a domain name (or pretty much anything else) are virtually limitless!

Streak at a domain event ffs 🤣🤣
Or at target market events, for gambling domains casinos, the tv lottery show, bingo halls etc, for crypto at crypto events, holiday events at airports, cruises, shopping at malls, business related domains at conferences, medical and health in hospitals and doctors surgeries. Dont get me started with metaverse domains , streaking avatars with domain tattoos. The options are endless.

Hi Brandmore,
First of all lets discuss your problem,
You wanted to have an idea about selling your bought domain to the other customers,
So for that let me explain you another way of marketing through which we convert free customers to paid customers which will help you understand the correct prospective.

Well, getting new subscribers through free-trial is much easier, but retaining & converting them takes a lot of planning and efforts. It’s actually the hardest part

Getting the timing right is crucial. Reaching the right type of audience at right time is essential. But how do you do that? There is certainly no magic wand, but yes, ramping up your marketing game may help.
First of all:
Optimization is the Key,
Social media marketing,
Viral marketing strategy,
Email Marketing,
Create offline Campaigns,
Offers and promotion,
Affiliate,
PPC, if you want to know the full detail analysis of the website.
