Hello !

I was discussing with my classmates today about the creation of Earth and everyone had his own opinion , please what do you think ?
Do you believe in God and was He the creator of this Planet ?

What is My Opinion ?

Personally i dont believe in God , i also dont believe that weird Ev & Adam theory because then the question is how , from 2 people we are nowdays 6 billion ? You know perfectly that incest would occur (when you have relationship with your sister or cousin your children would be with problems)

So that is an absurd theory for me!

I believe everything was created by itself ! You will ask how ? Well there is a simple example , listen how it works :

Get a piece of cheese , let it for one or two months in the middle of a table and you will see that after a period of time there will be some worm-like structures! But also this theory isnt really valid as we all know that humans are multi-cellular organisms where as bacterias and worms are unicellular!

I have more to write ;)

Well, sorry to say but its easy to ask questions, but difficult to answer questions or contemplate answers, especially in this matter.

Well, I would give you an answer, then the next question would be, proving it. Then I show some kind of proof as per my perception, then you may need absolute proof. Well, if there is an absolute proof and If I can provide that, oh, well, what can I say?

I am very interested in answers.
Unfortunately all I get is rhetoric. No answers what-so-ever.

Do you have an answer to my simple question?

So the short version of your answer, is that you don't have an answer.

Nothing simple about this topic I'm afraid!

Yup, I do not have an answer, do you have? Or do you intend to find one that is reasonable?

But I tell you something. The rhetoric is what counts, the ideas or the new perspectives, believe me or not, I was most into this one time with GF and we learned so many things which I believe have some commonness. Like shadow people, NDE (Near Death Experiences), aliens and their existence if any, UFOs and their sightings, we were able to sharpen our perceptions a bit at least. So some times its better to have some discussions instead of having a yes or no answer, which, IMO, can not be proved yet by anybody afaik. The only people that believe it to the most is the people who experienced it. Let it be God, or Ghosts.

I will be most interested if you have any answer or argument instead of just simple questions.

The topic is not at all simple.

The question is simple.

What scares the hell out of me is that so many people die needlessly every day, every month, every year, because people blindly follow what is un-answerable.

If you have an answer why do you refuse to say it?

If I had the answer I would say it, obviously I don't so is don't know why you are asking me for one, when you claim to have one.

I completely agree with you. But I am afraid that part belongs to a section of human kind, not necessarily at large with other sections.

I do believe the question originally asked was what do you think, not what do you think about what someone else thinks.

I did not say I had one, did I?

The question does not have a simple answer...

and when people die needlessly we say things like "gone to a better place" or "it was his time to go" or something that soothes the person grieving, to try to understand and cope with the loss......
but everyone always asks..."how could god let those kids get murdered or raped, or how could he let that bomber blow up the school, killing many innocent people"
I have lived on this earth for 42 years, and I have YET to find anyone with those answers...

No sir, you did not.
I misread your post.
Apologies.

Thats okay, no need to apologize my friend. I would not normally post so much but this topic is interesting with no end.

I had one time close relationships with a group of people who belong to ISKCON (International Society for Krishna's CONsciousness -, okay, I am not trying to induce any thing here, just a bit to help what I mean to say) and I asked them numerous questions, for some I got reasonable (at least to me) answers, for some, I was not satisfied. But they know their answers and they believe in them. I guess it comes down to one's own beliefs after all.

I don't think anyone on this forum has claimed to have an answer. I have put forth my best theory that "God" is on a level to human analogous to the level we are on with the characters in our dreams. To them we are infinite and can do anything. We have no beginning or end, and are somewhat unexplainable.

What scares the hell out of me is that so many people die needlessly every day, every month, every year, because people blindly follow what is un-answerable.

People die needlessly because fools have freewill. If it wasn't religion it would be something else.

I am not familiar with the Krishna's philosophy so I wouldn't be able to discuss it intelligently.
Some of my best religious discussions have been with people of the bahai faith.
If I were ever to become a religious man, which is extremely unlikely, I think that would be the faith I would follow.

Sensible people also have free will.
Does the fact that fools have free will not deny the existence of a caring god?

You should read this book "The Power of Now"

Well, its not my intention to start off a discussion pertaining to a particular faith or belief. On the other hand, I do believe all religions have started at One. My knowledge of Hinduism and Christianity (both which I follow) and some knowledge of other religions made me believe that all are one and the same; right down to the specifics of parables.

I don't see why. Particularly if you're of the belief that our "mortal" existence is tiny and insignificant compared to our future "immortal" existence. If infinity is ahead of you, it wouldn't much matter if you lived on this earth 5 days, 5 years or 95 years. And form that perspective it wouldn't much matter how much you suffered or benefited at the hands of others for that period of time.

I think it's kind of like saying Judges don't care when they uphold the law sometimes at the expense of what might seem fair for that specific situation.

No problem, when your done that and you want to get really deep, get the book titles "I Am That"

Heres the two links for ya.

http://www.amazon.com/Power-Now-Guide-Spiritual-Enlightenment/dp/1577311523

http://www.amazon.com/Am-That-Talks..._bbs_sr_2/104-2261073-2098343?ie=UTF8&s=books

Nothing can trouble you but your own imagination. (I AM THAT p.113)

General knowledge develops the mind, no doubt. But if you are going to spend your life in amassing knowledge, you build a wall round yourself. To go beyond the mind, a well-furnished mind is not needed. (p50)

Awesome reading
:)

What is the purpose of the "mortal" existance then?
Why can't we just skip all that and go right to the immortal life?

Seek and ye will find..

Test the Word, as it is written.. for it does say,
that if ye seek me with all your heart, you will find me.

Do just that.. and you will find the Spirit of God.
and it is good.
