I have some of my domains listed for sale with Afternic but I would like to set up email accounts for some of these names through my own hosting (by creating add-on domains in C-Panel). I don’t make much money from parking but I have the domains parked at Afternic because it makes sales transactions easier for end users. I don’t like the parking ads but buyers can simply click to purchase and Afternic comes across as trustworthy. I want to use email addresses from domains I am selling to contact end users because I think it makes a nice impression.

I’m not really a techie but I have called Afternic, my hosting provider and GoDaddy (my domain registrar and it is starting to seem impossible to park my names with Afternic and create email accounts for them.

Has anyone had success doing this with Afternic? With any parking company? Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

If I'm understanding you correctly, all you need to do is create the add-on domains that you'd like setup email addresses for in your C-Panel console. You can then create email addresses for each of these domains within C-Panel. What's worked best for me has been to forward my specific domain email addresses to my general email inbox so they're all in one location and I don't have to login to multiple email accounts.

@bhawk91.com I appreciate your response. After a few more customer service calls I was able to get everything to work properly. I already had the IP address for Afternic and the MX record for my host but no one told me that I also needed an IP address for my email address; once I added that everything is doing what I wanted.

Thanks again.
