Don't quite understand the Afternic parking options

I don't quite understand the afternic parking options until now.
Let's say I parked some of my domains at DS, one of the afternic "parking partner" and is that different from parking at other not listed partners? I still get payout from DS so what's the use of that option provided by afternic?

By parking at Afternic, you can designate half of your names to go to DomainSponsor and half to Fabulous. Then, 10 days after the end of the month, we'll send you a check (thus consolidating your payments from the two providers). It allows you to experiment with parking a little easier and also provides you with parking pages tailored towards selling your names.

That's a good question and you are correct: you don't need to have a separate DS or FAB account in order to use these parking options on AfterNIC. That was the first this I was a bit confused about when AfterNIC first introduced their new parking program.

Oh, that would be great, though I have the accounts with them. So is the payout rate the same?
I wish I could find all the info at afternic but I couldn't find it.

I don't know if we are allowed to discuss payouts and other earnings details. Maybe "billinchina" can offer some insight here.

IMHO, the pay-out would not be the same..

it would be less compared to parking directly at DS or FAB.

There is more friction in this...
