Crazydomains registrar reviews?

They are having cheap .info promotion (<2$ for first year). And usually have cheap .biz promotion too.

But I never registered any domain from them, their business name just a little bit... crazy.

I need to buy some .info domains. But cannot find any better offer...

Do you guys have any experience with them?

I've had a terrible experience with Crazy Domains. They don't include DNS service as standard like GoDaddy do, and their customer support either took ages to respond to me or just didn't respond at all. I recommend just sticking with GoDaddy.

I don't need to use DNS service, as long as I can change name server.

Beside slow support, do you have any other problem with them? Example payment, control panel doesn't work...

Payment is simply and easy, you can pay via PayPal or credit card.

Wonderful registrar.. I have used this service before.. They are crazy so how can we expect clever service from them?

- Domain was available and I tried to register that through CD ..
- Everything went smoothly (payment deducted & domain not registered)
- Got email confirming receipt but with pending domain status.
- Domain was still showing available on other registrar's portal like GD.
- I sent them email, after couple of days they responded with a note that they are having problem with the registry communication. They will refund in the case of domain registration failure.
- Finally after a week (or 5/6 days I don't remember exactly) domain registered.

This thing happened with me thrice.. I still register domains with them (only those which are not urgent) as they have cheap price..



Backorder.. - This experience is bit different..

I placed a backorder with them (for .com domain which was about to expire in couple of days). They couldn't catch my domain but as per their policy they don't refund backorder invoice amount in any case (successful or not). I sent them mail for refund in this case (I was unaware of no refund policy), without any arguments they refunded me 100% amount in the form of credits.

Plus I have received free one search engine submission worth $60 as I registered 10+ domains with them (executive level promotion which gives around 2.5% discount on domains registrations.)

Summary - They are crazy but not dishonest
