CPM/CPC Program

Hi, Mine & Forgottencreatures website SweetOnlineGames.com has been established for a few months now and is averaging 380/Uniques Daily with 700+ Daily Pageviews (Recently even higher).

Up till now we really haven't had much on the site other then adsense ads (Making nill) and some customer ads.

With this much traffic (not a whole lot, but still decent) I'm sure that some program would work well. But with death of popups, hard to use the great PayPopUp.com program

Hard to believe you aren't getting any results from that many uniques a day through adsense.

The only thing I can think of is that the ads aren't at all targeted, or you are getting mostly non-us traffic.

i can't believe it either that you don't get any clicks from so many uniques. That is uncommon, especially for google adsense

Well I mean we're getting clicks, but the CTR is meh! since our uniques are generally shortlived (We're a toplist of sorts, althrough some content).

Google CTR averages about %.20 so doesnt bring in that much cash.

That's the first thing that came to my mind as well.

Do you mean 380 Unique IP, non-bot hits per day? I think too many people count "hits" as uniques these days when that's not really accurate. The real accurate measure is the "Distinct hosts served" count minus any bot hits, IMO.

I think your color scheme is hurting you. Your Ad_-Sense ads are blending in too much, IMO. I would try a brightly colored border; I've had much success with a red border and plain white BG.

I think the issue is better optimized ads, not the program. The only other way I could think of to go would be with a program like adengage that pays whether or not people click.

No, those are indeed unique. We are recieving around 3000 hits each day.

I too was dissapointed at this, now that we are avaragin about 400 uniques daily we should be making money. I know of others who are making lots of money on less than that.

Maybe the new color change will help.

EDIT: As to our users, most are from the US.

Yep, a good chunk of our visitors are US Visitors. Well guys, changing the colors and layout has Quadruples to the Adsense Clicks But still only averaging about $.25/Day with our traffic. However last couple days have been our low part, this weekend will be the telling time since traffic usually hits around the 500 Unique Mark

You set the rate, but you only get money if someone buys ads (obviously).

Well Adsense has proved not worth while. We hardly earn anything at all with the gaming keywords.

I am now trying FastClick. Already its making more than AdSense did, I just put it in a rotation by itself. Ill post how we do in a few days.
