The site sells CPA exam prep materials ( notes, outlines, and mc questions) to cpa candidates for 19.95 or 9.95. The majority of the sales so far have been due to my advertising on 43things and cpanet where cpa candidates are constantly on the forums there. I am not sure why the site is slow for you it loads pretty quickly for me when I check it. An average day with this site brings in one or two sales for $20-$40 but the highest single day sales were $159.60. Payments have been coming in by paypal, moneybookers, and personal checks/money orders.

This section is for high dollar domains, but I was told it was okay to post this domain and website here. The website was officially launched on 7/21/08 and since then it has been climbing on alexa.com If you search for CPA Study Guide on yahoo you will see it is #1 and it is #9 on the first page of google under the same key words. The advertising campaign is targeted towards current cpa candidates who in turn tell their friends and co-workers about the site and this has produced sales over $2,000 in the last 6 weeks. I am not claiming that this site receives 100,000 visitors or 2 million page views per month, but what I am saying is that so far it has managed to turn 2,000 unique visitors into almost $2,500 in revenue. The conversion rate is phenomenal since I have been targeting the right demographics. There are anywhere between 125,000 and 150,000 cpa candidates so if you were somehow able to reach all of them this site could explode with revenue. The monthly hosting is $10 and advertising costs have only been around $200. Please do a search for CPA Study Guide on Yahoo and Google and look at the weekly/monthly ranking on Alexa to see the proof.

August Statistics, Payment proof, and website placement on google/yahoo.

Highest offer so far is $6,700

As promised here are the August 08 stats showing 1,255 unique visitors, 1,999 page views, 129 visitors clicked on the order link, paypal total was $1,047.20, moneybookers total was 263.59. We also received 10-15 checks/money orders for an additional $265 for a grand total of $1,575. I was not able to post a screen shot of the website placement on google or yahoo but you can see for yourself by searching for CPA Study Guide. These keywords show this website is currently #1 on Yahoo and #9 on Google (on first page). The alexa ranking went from 9million to 3million in the last week.

BIN reduced to $8,000 This won't last long at this price. Revenue for September will be $1,500 + so I am only asking for 5 months worth of revenue on the BIN.

My offer for $6,700 could not come up with the money so the website and domain are still for sale with the current offer at $6,500. I have also lowered the BIN to just $7,500. I will leave this on NP for another 3-4 days and then it will go to Sedo for auction. Sedo domain/website brokers have said they think the site will sell for a minimum of $15,000 but I am looking for a quick sale.
