Hello all,

I recently purchased a site and as soon as i got it the stats programmes "stopped" recording the number of visitors etc...

awstats and webalizer

Is there any way to turn them back on?

What exactly do you mean? Did you constantly see 0 for it when you knew there was traffic or did they just not load?

Ive had that happen before and I had to clear out the tmp directory... the next day it was back as good as new...

Hi,

yes theres been 0 for 7 days and i know there visitors as i get signups everyday and i served 90,000 hits today (to other sites),so theres definetly visitors.

Hmm might want to try emptying the TMP directory like wasabinut said.

To empty the /tmp directory run this in SSH:

rm -R -f /tmp/c*
rm -R -f /tmp/s*
rm -R -f /tmp/p*
rm -R -f /tmp/*_*
rm -R -f /tmp/*-*

Sometimes stats will stop running if load gets too high or if one site is hanging them up...
