.info is by fav domain. It covers everything, commercial, non profit etc.

I agree that in the US, org would do better. thats what I was trying to say earlier.
However, in the rest of the world (most of it), info for cities etc... are doing better, and are selling better.

I have SouthAmerica.cc & have rec'd a couple of low XXX offers..So I would think the .info would get more. I guess it all depends on who is buying it & how badly they need it. If they have a specific purpose & are going to develop & advertise it they will take any extension as long as it is SouthAmerica.(anything).
I DON'T believe there is much to be made in the PPC market from these extentions at this time...>Com still is the leading extention in revenue/click-thru names.

I once owned a USA state dot info.

Probably because a log of cities actually do use the .org. therefore people think they are going to an official city site, thus the .org's get traffic. I think most know that America does not use the .org as an official site, but instead use .gov or.us. For travel related use, I think the .info might me more valuable, especially for those who are non-english speaking where "info" means the same in more languages than other TLD's.

Would prefer the .info IMO I have a small resort in FIJI NADI.info and it gets 50 type ins a month probably because people want info like others said.

was free. To be honest i am not a huge fan of .com
( i love .nl and .com domain names )

but well I just regged it...

Nice typo.
It would get traffics if it was a com.
