Another usage, from my point of view, could be the content with copyright exceptions - in this case stuff related to public domain (pre 1930's books, images, sources for documentary without violating any laws).

I see what you're saying, but no website limits itself with this kind of logic - just because you have a news website it doesn't mean that you have to write only about the recent stuff and nothing related to the past. The category is related to copyrighted content and you not only can, but you should make articles about the opposite (in this case exceptions for copyright), especially if it attracts the crowd.
e.g. website about firearms writes a series of articles about past inovations of protecting yourself without using any.

So you are saying if I am running a blog or website about tattoo's and people with tattoo's...then I should also post about people that have no tattoo's!? To each there own I suppose, but to me, that doesn't really follow logic.

Maybe if you learned English you would understand what I wrote...which is your post makes no sense. I used the example to help someone with limited critical thinking skills, such as yourself, to better understand how your logic is ridiculous.

Copyright is part of the law. What kind of lawyer has no knowledge in regulation exceptions?
Please contact Cornell university and convince them that they use 'ridiculous' URLs. Once you do so, I will agree that I am mistaken and that my logic is truly 'ridiculous'.

I can agree on your example with the tattoos though, but it's not the case this time.

I actually see a lot of value in this domain. There are so many sites you can put on. For example, directory for lawyers working in copyright law; something like dmca site, or guide on how to deal with copyright infringements. These are just few ideas. I think this domain is really good.

I could see it being used for various informational purposes, but I think I am going to try to reach out to copyright lawyers first.
