Copyright Advice Please

First i would like to say: I am a web developer, not a lawyer, so forgife me if i sound ignorant with my legal questions:

I want to have legal proof of every site or graphic or flash or any web content i develop that proves that i developed it and hold the copyrights for it, is there an easy/legit way to do this and how? please be descriptive

post it to yourself.

burn a copy of the work (BEFORE YOU RELEASE IT!) and buy a copy of that days paper, some print outs of the work and post it to yourself recorded delivery.

put the domain / work name wtc on the envelope.

when it gets back to you. you will have had a tracking number. sealed envelope and a postmark on it with that days date. put it on a box and forget about it.

when the court case comes. juck it at the judge.
you will have

1. the last modified date on the cd
2. the printouts (which usually have the url location and the date)
3. the paper with the date
4. the tracker number so they can contact the parcel company if need bee
5. the date on the envelope
6. the unopened envelope.
