help please, turning mass amounts of .php-based pages into automated blog posts

a while back I bought a slew of sites that use php and no .html files. You know: recipes, real estate, etc. Each article is a separate .php file. There are loads of usable articles but no way of searching them, no way of sorting them into categories, etc.

Is there a simple way to turn the whole mess into a giant blog, with each .php "page" being a different blog post that I can later categorize?

thanks

anyone? How about converting a huge batch of .php to blog posts? I have seen joke sites, recipe sites, movie databases, etc on blogging platforms and I would really like to know how to do that, and to be able to convert php to blog without having to do each one by hand.. or let me know if there's a script to do so. thanks so much
