.mobi Content management

Hi .mobi enthousiasts,

I am currently developing a .mobisite which has ever changing content. I am scouting the net for a useful content management system which allows me to alter the content of my .mobi site on every pc or PDA. Unfortunately with no real success. Is there anyone here to tell me that a mobile management system is at all possible and if so could that person push me in the right direction?

I started looking into this... but haven't gotten very far yet.

There are 2 open source cms options that have mobile templates/themes available.

The first is wordpress which is better known as a blogging tool than a cms, but it does have a lot of plug-ins available so it could accomodate most simpler functionality.

The second is Drupal which is a bit more powerful (and a bit more difficult to learn). Drupal also has a large number of plug-in modules. Bear in mind that some (optional/add-on) modules will have their own style sheet which may or may not be mobile friendly.

Both run on php 4.x & mysql. Some xhtml, css, & php knowledge is handy.

I think that Joomla has a WAP module as well - but I haven't researched it at all as it is not my preferred CMS... for a number of reasons.

In your post you mention PCs as well. Drupal can be made to switch themes depending on device, but I couldn't tell you how to do it.... I know just enough php to be dangerous as opposed to productive.
