discuss Comparing Automated Valuations

Hi guys. I’m new to domaining, and even newer to NamePros. I’m generally buying / registering new .com names that I come up with, and basing my sale pricing on some combination of valuations from Brandpa, Godaddy & Estibot. (Sometimes, the three couldn’t be anymore different!)

I read Bob’s excellent post, but that was written a few years ago. What are people doing now? I am the only domainer I know, and it would help to have an idea of whether or not I’m on the right track. I’ve been doing a ton of reading on domain trading, for whatever that’s worth. Thanks in advance!

None of these are any good for valuations.

They can be handy to compare and quickly sort names but even then miss the mark more often than not.

From memory bobs article is pretty solid and covers more than you need to get an accurate price.
