Coming back from a break

Hey all, I'm getting back in to the game after roughly a 3 year break. Feeling a little lost but muddling through. I used to be on "the other forum" but now looks like NP is THE place to be!

I only work in .ca and .com and have run out of time to develop (toddler takes any spare time I used to have). I am getting into expired domains and parking more now and looking to flip my domains more effectively.

Never been interested in xyz or any of those "fad" extensions.

My experience has been lots of ups and downs... made decent profit flipping hand regs relating to new technology, focused on a niche and sold dorect to end users I sought out again hand regs... regged a ton of garbage and got emotionally sttached then finally got ruthless and purged my collection.

Been doing it as mostly a hobby on and off for 12 years now. Made a lot of mistakes and grew wiser with time.

And maybe 20 .coms

I'm certainly not a "big player" in this game but I have made enough mistakes over the years to know how to not fall too far nowadays. My best advice is to try to not get too emotionally attached to your domains unless you can afford to eat the reg fees for years.
