Hey hey,
I joined way back in 2005 when I first started getting interested in domaining and today, after 11 long years... I am back!
I wanted to reintroduce myself, so hey there - I'm Dan an Australian UI, UX designer now living in London, UK and looking to get back into domains after a long break.
I've been so busy focusing on my design career that I found very little time to get involved deeply with domaining. I'm excited to be back and in a position to invest more time and money. I do however feel like I fell asleep in a .com, .net, .org world and woke up in a world full of 100s of new gTLDs, it's going to take me some time to adjust.
I'm particularly interested in learning about domain development techniques for resale and getting some better strategies for purchasing domains.
I'd love to hear if anyone has any tips for someone who's missed out on the past 11 years in the domain industry, what do I need to know, what do I need to invest in?
Good to be back!
