Ok so the .Com is taken for the singular version of the domain I want. The keywords have roughly 10x the amount of traffic in singular versus the plural version. Should I buy the .Com in its plural version or the .Net in its singular version? Does the resale value get affected a lot by the lesser keyword traffic? Both the singular and plural version make sense and refer to the product. Thanks.

.net have about 5% of .com price & reputation value. I'm not talking about other tld's as their value is about 1%.

.COM or .NET --- Well if you ask Verisign they don't care, just as long as you don't buy any other gTLD that they don't own.

We would purchase the .com plural most days of the week over the singular .net.

As described above I would most likely take both the plural/com and, the singular/net and call it a good day!

Maybe a bit off topic but .net has been "the second choice" for decades when the .com domain was already registered. Yet, .net is not a bad TLD at all in my opinion. I wonder if it can shed the bad image or if people will go for .web when it comes out or prefer .website, .site or .online.
