You are delusional if you think owning.com verses another tld or another gTLD extension is better. Stuck in your ways ! Google doesn't discriminate... Camping.Equipment verse CampingEquipment.com the new erra is here get used to it! Camping.Equipment is shorter and cleaner! To prove my point I have many domain names similar to this one above that constantly rank higher than .com versions .supply , .online, .site, .global ect.... Many are excellent for seo. Now let's examine camping.equipment for example - the dot com is asking 150k price tag. I have the clearly cleaner version, is it better for resell , no but for a development standpoint yes, this domain if not sold within 30 days will be developed. It will outrank the dot com because the dot com will just sit there empty for 1 year plus or more until a buyer comes along. Even if they buy it and develop it I will have an advantage. I can position it just right, I can spend considerably on advertising and seo and outrank every single time. Facts

If your going to use it for it's purpose, .com does have some benefits. Millions more benefits no.

What's the subject matter of discussion?

Are you saying the value of .Com TLD is not worth its reputation?

It's a delusion, most of you are going to squat on it until you maybe get your dream price, all the while I will develop an alternative version and have made your dream price 3x over. Most the real good dot comes aren't developed only switching hands from one flipper to the next sometimes wait years to get the right price, even if dot com is developed, in many instances I have been able to beat them in Google rank without a million dollar ad budget.

Right now, your post comes across as combative and unpolished, which makes it harder for others to engage with your points. Opening with "You are delusional" and similar phrases puts readers on the defensive and shuts down dialogue before it starts.

I get your point but here’s the thing.. A domain name is just one piece of the puzzle... Yes, camping.equipment can work & look clean but ranking higher isn’t about the tld alone.. It’s about content, authority, backlinks, speed and trust... People still type ( .com ) by habit, so brand trust plays a role too.. If you build something solid on your domain and push it with good seo and marketing, you can win.. No matter if it’s .com or not... But just owning the extension won’t guarantee dominance.. The real advantage comes from what you actually do with it.

You need to calm down and stop being combative.

Is CampingEquipment.com worth $150,000? Absolutely no. Its worth is between 10k-20k max domain.

Did you try to make an offer to the buyer? Sometimes the asking price is NOT the final price. You just have to give it a try.

Yeah and that's the hard part. For E-commerce especially dropshipping - quality and reliability is so crucial. Then we have everything else that must also work smoothly. Not as easy as I make it sound I know. How many people type in the domain name though? I never do, I just Google search what I'm looking for and then scroll through but honestly Google has gotten really bad . Remember what Google used to be
