Hello NamePros,

We'd like to introduce Binomus (binomus.com) to the NamePros community.

Binomus is a domain registrar offering .com, .net, and .org registrations at $4.49 — no volume caps, no first-year-only pricing. The rate applies to every registration, whether it's your first or your hundredth.

A few things worth noting:

  • The entire platform is custom-built from the ground up. We don't rely on third-party reseller panels, which means faster iteration and full control over the user experience.
  • We're a new platform. Rather than positioning ourselves as a finished product, we're launching with a strong core — domain search, registration, and management — and building outward from there.
  • We're actively looking for feedback. We believe the best way to build a registrar people actually want to use is to listen to the people who use registrars every day.

Our goal is straightforward: make domain registration more accessible without the hidden fees and upsell patterns that have become the industry norm.

If you have questions about pricing, supported TLDs, or how the platform works, we're happy to answer them here.

28/03/2026:
General update: We've activated 1 automated worker for domain registration. It's still not quite as fast as you'd like, but registrations are now processed in an automated registration queue. After initial testing, we'll activate more simultaneous workers to improve speed.

29/03/2026:
We have integrated and activated the WHOIS verification process. You can now verify your WHOIS profile in the dashboard using your contact email address. After this process, the frequently asked question about incorrect WHOIS country will be resolved, and the information you entered will be displayed.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Why didn’t you say this March 23rd or at least before the price increased to $10 a year
I only mentioned it when I came across the post. The advice would have been exactly the same if I’d seen it earlier. When something looks unusually cheap in this space, it’s always worth doing a bit of due diligence before jumping in.

No one has $2.50 .coms to sell to affiliates.
They don't say they're .coms. I don't think it's humour in this case. Just an offering for other extensions...

Airing a word of caution to all interested in this.
Bit late to the party there. That's what the last 7 pages of the thread have discussed.

I signed up, but it’s been 24 hours and I haven’t heard anything yet, and there’s no mention of a timeframe.

Even so, you should respond quickly to support tickets and other inquiries.

Registered a domain and it awaits approval for hours. Plus it does not allow for external transfer.

I probably got scammed.

Yeah, one of the issues is they do not support instant registrations, and they do not answer support request on weekends. You may not get your domain till Monday. Be careful. Other than that good luck they sound like they’re nice people.

Good luck with all that. The manual regs by them is different than any register I have seen. I don't think you were scammed you will probably get the domain assuming it's not registered by someone else before they register it. There was also complaints of domains not being registered and money being given as account credit rather then back to credit card or paypal. It does say on the page that "Domain registration process may take a bit longer than usual. Thank you for your patience."

Sorry, to hear that. Not sure if they are front running but they might be. I mean they can steal ideas and register somewhere else with the time they have to register. Or simply it could have been bad luck that someone beat you to it. Either way they are not icann accredited they are reseller for squarespace.

Someone, or maybe multiple people already tried to explain that this whole operation is shady af. Not sure the truth to it but it is what it is, looks shady. Website barebone like ai generated, without tos, without privacy notice, without anything at all a legit registrar would have. I've read an earlier post that the business around it is a "secret" too. Read between the lines, folks.

Let's be realistic. They don't even support instant registrations. There is zero chance they would support FT and MLS.

No TOS or privacy policy.
No contact us page.
Maybe they are related to moster.
Should move this thread to possible scam section and i cant believe how desperate people are to save few dollars, considering the risk.

Unfortunately, no accountability in this business. On with the show, this is it.

It should also be noted that namePros Moderators are tasked with enforcing namePros rules/policies and can not enforce 3rd party terms of service, nor can we use 3rd party communications in internal investigations.

You may want to refer to our other comments in this thread as well. If you have proof of a scam, please provide it so a moderator/team can investigate further. At the moment, it appears the service provider is offering a manual registration service at a discounted rate, which has resulted in the inability to manually register every name their customers wanted. We can also see in this thread where the service provider has issued refunds and provided instruction and email were to request a refund if a domain was unable to be registered.

It seems the service provider is having a hard time keeping up with demand of said service and learning the hard way that it's not as easy as some make it look to provide such a service.

Please use the report link to send us proof of your scam claim so we can review it.

Thanks for understanding.
