I called verisign and they said it is 2pm Eastern Time. They also said when the time changes to daylight saving time it still remains 2pm eastern time.
So maybe I shouldn't have set everything on my website according UK time, including my dropcatching script.
I just checked how the daylight saving time works. The UK time went back one hour at the end of 31 October. However Eastern time will go back one hour on 7 November. So the time zones don't change all at the same time.
Anyway, you just need to use 2pm eastern time always and not mix with other time zones like I do. I was calculating the drop time as 19:00 UK time in my mind and then reflecting this to eastern time but that doesn't work between 31 october and 7 november.
