I know that serverpoint.com has their own datacenter, but what about the other companies? Which one to have the same thing?

I suppose that is quite troubled to colocate server. I suggest you selling it and get dedicated server. That would be easy for you

Colocation is sometimes a hard niche to join.

You would need to take into consideration where you currently live, who your competition is and how many are actually interestd in the IT area. Not many people in your area may be interested in purchasing a colo, therefor less need for a datacenter.

If you colocate, its always good to find a datacenter in your local area. You wont have to worry about your server being stolen or high shipping fees. I heard many horror stories about colocation and how people were missing a few parts.

That is correct. Just be ready to spend a lot of time in DC with your own server. I would agree with Serverpoint. Dedicated server is much better opinion now

Starting from a dedi is a good option, serverpoint.com is a reputable company and whatever service you use from them, you will not waste your money for nothing. Co-lo demands more money and experience.

Colocation is a much better decision to make if you are in need of a powerful server. For instance, an i7 might cost $300 a month to rent out whereas it can cost $130 or whatever to have colocated instead.
