Earlier this year, I posted on NamePros that Coinbase.com was acquiring related domains, such as Coinbase.eu. At that time, I checked NameBio and discovered that Coinbase.us was listed on sedo for 4999USD.

Howere, Unfortunately, the former domain owner had not renewed the domain, it had been deleted and put up for auction at Docky.ly 24,March 2023

Today, I looked up related domains again and discovered that Coinbase.com had acquired CoinSbase.com, and Coinbase.US Whois changed 21,July,maybe,clearly.,they has acquired it at 21,July and they were also planning to acquire Coinbase.Eu also.

If Coinbase.US holders learned of this news, would they regret it?

Why would anyone want to buy a "trademarked domain" for which there is only one possible buyer? And with .us registrations, the WHOIS is publicly visible so you will forever be known as a domain squatter who would have very likely lost the domain anyway in a UDRP.

Because Coinbase is the largest and listed crypto company in the US,Coinbase filed a lawsuit against Chinese domainer coinbase.INFO and Coinbase.de before and lost both the cases in the past.

The owner of Coinbase.de offered high before,a German holder

Of course things depend on the registration date, but the .US extension is clearly focused on the US where Coinbase is located and listed. I don't know the case regarding coinbase(dot)info, but the .info domain is obviously more generic, and doesn't have any registration restrictions such as .us.

Aha,That's only your own thoughts (Trademark),But the former owner didn't sell it to coinbase.com which means he/she was not against the rules.
all these taken too and many more

It's a lot of people's thoughts. Just not selling it to the trademark holder doesn't mean you still can't lose the domain. A lot of registrants have lost domains, even though they didn't sell it or even offer it for sale to a trademark holder.
