Both sounds like outlier enduser sales. Wouldn't have described coffee.org as a "short" domain.

Wondering if you get paid to always be my contrarian. :|

In my brain "Coffee" is a short domain. No one asks you to agree with me.

Wow, great sales of those names! I would think that Coffee.org would be an enduser at that price.

I am pretty sure both of those are end users. I can't see a reseller paying these prices for either.

short or long, coffee is a great clean product name.

i couldn't get an appraisal on MailingTubes.org this week (obviously a completely different league) but product .orgs are on their way up IMO

Hm, coffee is definitely a great keyword.. an .org might be useful for a trade organization but that's a great price!

coffee didnt sell for the price it did because its a short domain. that is wishful thinking.

I would, as well ... it's a great GENERIC domain name, and I see it's use as Dave suggests above! :gl: :gn:

Oh that`s right.

Well, if you disagree than coffee.org is better than:

MyBeautifulItalianCoffee.com

than you may not understand what I meant.

To confuse short domains with one-word domains is an error. For example, COMPUTER.com sold for $2 million. If you were to sell this based entirely on it having 8 mainly-premium letters then it wouldn't even be worth reg fee.

It isn't worth $175,000, realistically at auction this is the type of name that would get 20-30k.
