I like a popular phrase and I would like to reg. it in the UK but the .co.uk is taken, however, .me.uk and .org.uk are still available.

My question is which is better?

Hello,

Personally i would go with the .org.uk if you sre selling something or using the name for resale.

me.uk for a personal site as that is what most people in the uk use that ext for.

Hope this helps.

( or u could use uk.com i think this is more popular than the other 2 not 100% sure though)

There is the .ltd.uk option? Doesn't seem to be widely used, however.
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=www.ltd.uk&fr=ieas-dns

For .me.uk: 2.2 million
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=www.me.uk&ei=UTF-8&fr=ieas-dns&fl=0&x=wrt

For .org.uk: 15.9 million
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=www.org.uk&ei=UTF-8&fr=ieas-dns&fl=0&x=wrt

Based off that, I might say .org.uk , although it's hard to go anywhere but .co.uk.: (169 million)
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=www.co.uk&ei=UTF-8&fr=ieas-dns&fl=0&x=wrt

Negative Ghostrider, pattern is full (Kudos if you know where that is from...).
uk.com is below .org.uk and .me.uk , and the quality of sites in the .uk.com namespace seems to be lacking (As well as declining).

(The second result on yahoo was not renewed, for example.)

I like .me.uk more, but they both are very bad

IMO both aren't' good, but .org.uk is the better

I love .me.uk in theory, but in reality .org.uk is far more widely used and recognised. A few people here may even have heard of .org.uk.

As for .me.uk, I would be shocked if anybody here outside of the domain industry had even heard of it.

if the site is purely for development...then maybe..., but if it is for value then no to both
