There are so many new extensions out there that are trying to make it to the top but when there's so too many, it just makes domain traders more preferably sticking to .com rather than others. It is a big mess and unless there's some known, developed and optimized websites using such a new extension, it will take time for them to be known.

Read my reports on .UA and .RU (use search). Ukraine is 48 mil population European country (1st by territory and 5th by population) with fast developing economy and internet. Don't forget about wide Ukrainian diaspora in Canada (over 1 mill), Europe (over 3 mil), Latin America (300,000 in Argentina only), Australia and NZ (over 100,000), etc. For the moment most of .UA domains are useless outside Ukraine if you are not planning anything Ukraine-related. .CO.UA is less valuable than .COM.UA. But it is a new zone and no one can predict what will be going on in a year or two.

Well, Ukrainian is nice country (I have even some very far relatives there), but there are already too many extensions. It will never be anything big.

That's true. There are 6 at the moment. But .BIZ.UA is not popular at all. In Ukraine it is popular .IN.UA (for individuals but mainly used by businesses) and expecially .COM.UA. I can predict that .CO.UA will also be popular.

There are so many extensions out there, yet most of them are totally worthless. I really can't see the Ukranian TLD ever picking up. With that said, I'm sure casino.co.ua and poker.co.ua would still make good investments.
