Unless you have some killer keywords, like CRUISE.CO, FLY.CO, or VEGAS.CO, Etc., I would recommend letting them all drop.

The End. IMHO

We should rename this thread the GoDaddy coupon seeking thread... unless there is one of those already ;)

Godaddy issue renewal promo codes when there is less renewals, and they don't give promo codes when bunch of domains are for renewals.

Now I understand why there is always a promo code for .com renewals ;)

With the high renewal cost, low activity, and amount of people looking for discounts, I think the .CO drops this year are going to be brutal.

I just purchased a 1-word .CO at GoDaddy. I trust my intuition enough to take a chance on one now and then, but it's not a good sign that things have gotten so quiet. Most of the names that have been posted recently by newcomers are droppable. The sheer volume of typos, TMs, and unpronounceable pigeon-crap at GD (and elsewhere) is astounding. The first thing you should ask yourself when buying a domain is "is there a commercial reason why more than one company would want this?" If you can't support that answer with actual data (multiple people advertising for term, dozens if not hundreds of companies using the keyword - spelled properly - in their URL, adwords stats, etc.), it is not worth buying.

The drops are going to be massive, but as Brad and others have pointed out, it's usually in the second year of a "new" release of an extension (although .CO has been around longer than that, technically speaking) that people start to trim their portfolios.

If you ARE going to buy, stick to strong, product-related 1-word names. Other than a couple of names I sold on sales threads last year, I've never put any effort into contacting users for my .CO. The handful I've sold have all come through Sedo.

I have renewed my .co's, you can see them in my signature and I think they're worth holding onto for now.

I am renewing all my 1 worded .co's and keeping some of my LLL

I sold a few (low to mid $xxx) and the ones I don't want to renew are mostly listed here for a $1 starts
