"If somebody doesn't like an extension at all they would have zero names, not 15."

Nevermind, figured it out, just read an earlier post in this thread. He's selling/dumping most of the .co he has left.

They would probably have more if they liked it, and not trying to dump the remaining ones they have. 20 now down to 15 and selling like 10 of those here. Nothing wrong with that. But if a new extension comes along and you think it has a future, really believe in it, the behavior that usually follows are purchases, increase in the amount you own, not a dumping. But he might just want a handful.

"Cnet.com Just Covers .Co & Juan Calle: There Are 1.3 Million .Co Domains Registered"

You make it look like all bids on .COs may potentially be fake... strange things like fake bids, shill bidding, etc happen in any TLD of course, including .com

Agreed! Also seeing that google ranks .co websites well is nice. Twice in the past week ive seen them rank #1 in searches. I may be new to this, but it sounds totally possible a TLD that can rank number 1 on Google may be worth 3k to someone in the travel business. :)

More likely if they were in the Travels business.

Getting ranked #1 for "Travel" is going to take a whole lot more than a domain name with a keyword.

I just have to ask something to clear something up. On the other blog you mentioned you only have like 15 .co and I notice you have like 10 of them for sale here. Do you really like this extension? I figured if you did, you would have a lot more, would invest in your beliefs. Or is it more pump and dump? You have some you're just trying to get rid of? Just doesn't add up.

Exactly, I have around 15 domains that I'm planning to hold plus 6-8 I want to cut off from my portfolio. As I have said other times in this thread, liking an extension doesn't necessarily mean buying hundreds of names in it, especially if you are investing in other TLDs as well and want to keep a relatively small portfolio.

Anyway I fail to understand how simply posting a link to a blog post or a Sedo auction may be considered pumping (and, in any case, pumping the TLD to whom? other domainers? real pumping, if any, should be done to the general public IMO). I realize this TLD is unreasonably one of the most hated in the domain community, so maybe even the slighest form of support (not necessarily acting like a "Robert Cline", which I think it's stupid) may be considered as pumping or may cause irritation or similar sentiments.

If somebody doesn't like an extension at all they would have zero names, not 15.

Perhaps having 15 names is realistic to his goals.

Well said.

That's nice sale of Software.com.co :)

Do you guys think it's worth buying .com.co domains with very high number of exact searches and quality keyword?

To be honest, I don't think so. Perhaps for the truly superpremium ones (poker, forex, insurance, etc.).

@the_poet

Thanks for your suggestion. I was thinking the same as well. We normally don't see regular .com.co sales...

.com.co is for the local market. You need strong Spanish keywords.
