This could truly be a big competitor to .COM (especially being a "typo").
I would say with proper guidance .CO could REALLY have a bright future!

Anyone having issues with regging .co names? Trying to renew an expired domain of mine that is in grace period with Namecheap and it won't let me renew. Contacted live support and was told they were "having issues with .co"

Hoping I don't get screwed out of my domain somehow.

I had that problem last week. It took them few days to fix that. I have been using them for years and they have a lot of technical bugs. Recently I could not get an Aut Code, no emails were arriving at my mail box.
It also took them a few days to fix that.

Also, I noticed that the domains which I did not renew at Namecheap they did not go on auctions but someone renewed them, someone inside.
It happened to me last year. All names had privacy so I could not check who it was.
Has anyone experienced something like that?

I had it sorted out after contacting chat support.

On another note, I think an app I downloaded to check available .co domains actually tricked me into supplying ideas for someone. I used this app to search it and when I got home I jumped on my desktop to register it and it was taken, either a crazy coincidence with the timing or I got suckered. Damnit
