LeaseThis.com is in the news as a domain leasing service over at http://dnjournal.com/.
But how about joint or co-ownership of a domain name? There doesn't seem to be the equivalent of a real estate deed for domain names. I guess some people have domain name co-owner contracts or have setup partnerships/corporations to share domain names? Is there another, simpler way?
If someone has a "hot" domain name, they could sell part of it for a nice pile of cash now, yet keep a piece of the action for later.
Has anyone done this?
