.co .co help

Hi guys,

I wondered if anyone could help with the .co extention. I recenently came across an unregistered .co domain which has 1 million exact searches on keyword: Is it worth registering for resale?

That alone shouldn't be a reason.
Are you sure about these stats ?
Then it all depends on the keyword, the industry etc.
The first question you should be asking yourself is how come it's still available ?

To be honest i was wondering why it was available, all other extentions are taken and it is a large market. Although i know nothing about .co and was going to base the purchase on searches. Stats are deff 1 million globally and 200 thousand odd locally. (exact not broad)

There are some names that don't get one million searches they don't even get hundred thou exact search and sell very expensive. I am never obsessed with the exact searches it's good as an "over all" evaluation. Honestly I wouldn't go with .co unless it's TOP keywords.

You would be surprised the domains people overlook. I think if you feel you have strong keywords it is probably a good buy. Obviously do research and think about who would want to buy the domain.

I think a lot of people just don't know about .CO, which is why it is still available a lot of the time.

If it's not a .com .org or .net in my opinion it needs to be pretty bad ass to generate a good profit. Like business.co or something of that nature. If the domain has a good market and a good keyword then it definately has potential to make a profit but it can also go bust since the market for .co could shift.

Considering reg fee's for .co's are pretty cheap I would say just go for it. If you cant do anything with it than just drop it and cut your losses

check what other tlds are available besides .co
common opinion is .co is no more than a country TLD, not COrporation or COmpany, i.e. does not have any association and values of .com
